CircleIT values giving back to our community and we're honored to do this in multiple ways.

With circularity at the core of all that we do, we pride ourselves in being able to donate electronics that benefit locally and globally focused nonprofit partners. Our goal is to help increase accessibility to technology and bridge the digital divide, as well as support youth education program needs. This is good for our communities, good for the environment (as it extends the life of electronic devices) and helps our clients achieve their social impact goals. When a client's offloaded devices are donated to nonprofits, they are directly helping communities in need while supporting their own ESG goals.
In 2022 alone, CircleIT donated 1,000 items to nonprofits. These donations make a difference in people’s lives. Here’s just a couple of examples of the impact of our donated electronics:
-
We shipped 210 phones to Kenya and our partner nonprofit Medic Mobile distributed the mobile phones to healthcare workers in Kitui County, Nairobi, Kenya (photo above). For every one phone, 500 individuals receive better health outcomes, even in the most rural of areas. The total impact of this donation means that 125,000 individuals experienced better health outcomes.
- ReMerge a nonprofit in the Oklahoma City community (the headquarters for CircleIT), received 10 computers for recently released incarcerated women, so they could learn new job skills.
- Nearly 450 mice and keyboards were donated to Bodine Elementary School to benefit youth in class. Having the right technology aids learning and helps Bodine’s teachers achieve important educational outcomes for their 600 students using these tech tools.
We are proud to work with our partners to continue to create better outcomes for our communities and environment. We look forward to continuing these efforts in 2023!
