American Fidelity Digital Donations Spurred by CircleIT

As a B Corporation, CircleIT is committed to social impact. CircleIT works diligently to not only expand its internal capacity to do good but provide its clients with new avenues to increase their ability to make a difference. One example can be found in the wake of the devastating tornados that tore through Kentucky last year.

In response to the disaster, American Fidelity—an American, family-owned life and health insurance company—immediately contacted impacted school districts to identify ways to help. One urgent need was laptops. And by partnering with CircleIT, American Fidelity was able to provide 47 laptops to Graves County and Hopkins County Schools.

"We’re proud of our partnership with American Fidelity and are thankful for the opportunity to play a role in donating laptops to students and teachers at the Kentucky schools that were impacted by devasting weather events,” said Will Cohen, president of CircleIT. “This type of social good inspires our team and is directly aligned with our mission to repurpose technology devices and put them in the hands of those who need them most."

CircleIT is excited to cultivate partnerships with companies such as American Fidelity, who not only share our goal of supporting education, but also help our repurposed electronics to be put in hands that will make good use of them.

“Giving back is a huge part of who we are, and we are always looking for ways to support education,” said Kate Mathis, Kentucky state manager for American Fidelity. “We’re thrilled to be able to support local school districts and provide laptops to students so that they can continue learning and preparing for their bright futures."
